Yesterday my friend and I went to Battle Cafe for lunch for the first time. We ordered the ham and three cheese toastie, the mushroom toastie, and the French toast, plus coffee. Both the food and coffee were pleasantly surprising — the presentation was beautifully done, and you could tell the chef put great care into it. The staff were also very friendly. My friend and I really enjoyed our meal, and I’ll definitely be recommending this place to my friends!

Nice and cosy suburban Cafe in the streets near Junction or Springview rds. Their toasties are plump and gourmet!! Food and coffee all tasty and served with a smile.

The food wasn’t the best BUT this place has the nicest staff I’ve ever interacted with! Made my family feel so welcome and they had toys for kids, etc. We’d come back for the amazing service, as the food wasn’t bad - just not the quality you’d usually expect in Melbourne.

We went to Battle Cafe in Blackburn today and absolutely loved it! The food was top notch , full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The coffee was smooth and perfectly brewed, easily one of the best we’ve had in a while. The vibes were warm and welcoming, with a really cozy yet stylish atmosphere. But what really made the experience stand out was the customer service — super friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Battle Cafe is a gem, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
